We are two totally awesome ladies who lived the life of celibacy for eight months. It sucked but we both learned alot. Bookcase lives in the mountains of the south and is classy and assertive, baking her muffins and walking her rottweiler. Pootalatte (me) lives in the coastal marshlands of the south and I am wild and emotional, going to college and walking my yorkie/chihuahua. We basically talk about our sex lives and being single/not single/maybe single?
i havent watched this. i will. but not yet. but when i do, get ready. cuz i will comment. but not yet. cuz i didnt watch it.
ReplyDeletegot it?
ok ok ok. so i watched it. i found myself shaking my head in agreement a lot and falling in love several times.
ReplyDeleteon a different note: this is so confirming when I think about the community that poota and I engage in, her more so than me, but nonetheless. that idea that you cant express your sexual preference without changing your clothes, cutting your hair, or even fundamentally looking like the counter-part of what you want to attract is terrifying.
i like that the femme community is reclaiming what it means to be a women, what it means to express femininity in a way that doesnt pigeon hole sexuality.
